DHL plans to establish its first dedicated semiconductor warehouse in India in Dholera, Gujarat. The proposed ₹50 crore facility is expected to begin operations by August 2027, near Tata Electronics’ semiconductor fabrication project. It will support specialised storage, inventory management and transportation of sensitive materials, helping meet the supply-chain requirements of semiconductor manufacturers and their suppliers.
Tata Electronics and Dholera’s Growing Semiconductor Ecosystem
Dholera’s semiconductor ecosystem is developing around Tata Electronics’ planned fab, backed by an investment of more than ₹91,000 crore in partnership with Taiwan’s PSMC. The project targets capacity of 50,000 wafer starts per month. DHL’s proposed logistics hub could support suppliers and industrial operations, strengthening Dholera’s role in India’s expanding semiconductor manufacturing network.
